Easy Spin in Tetris DS

We will first mention that Tetris DS uses the current Tetris rule set. For those familiar with previous versions of the game, this means the ability to rotate the piece at the bottom of the bin for an unlimited amount of time. This element was established in Tetris Worlds, with many gamers crying foul that it was an element that "broke" the classic formula. Obviously it\'s something that makes things a little easier, since players stuck with a piece can move and rotate the current piece until they find a slot to jam it into place.

What the fuck? This game has ample gameplay modes, tons of extras, a fantastic multiplayer game, and more polish than a puzzle game deserves. Yet they couldn\'t think to put an "Easy Spin" on/off tab in the options.

Everybody hates Easy Spin, FFS!

Holy cow. I never knew you could even DO that!

Yeah it\'s been used in Tetris Worlds, which does have the option to turn it off - so maybe this will too.

It\'s helpful and not really a bad thing compared to the way it used to be.  Makes the game a little more forgiving on high speeds, but competitively, skill still wins.

It\'d be like complaining how now you can see the next five or so pieces instead of just the next immediate piece.  Made things a little easier, but didn\'t take away from the original at all.

Same with the ghost piece at the bottom to check how it\'s lined up as it falls.

A no frills "classic" mode with green graphics would be pretty cool, though.
