Wii to look better than at E3?

An image uncovered by NintendoGossip seems to show that a Gamecube was powering the Wii software titles on display at this year\'s E3. While the Wii consoles were on display, they were only there for show.
This shouldn\'t come as too much of a surprise since the early development kits were nothing more than a Wii controller and a Gamecube, and Nintendo has yet to send out the final development kits. However, this does lend credence to the idea that the Wii software shown on display at E3 are not representative of the system\'s full graphical capabilities.

During this year’s E3, a The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess demopod had some problems. A photographer saw his chance to see what was behind the walls of Nintendo’s booth. The truth is that all Wii games were actually running on a GameCube. The Wii consoles were just standing there for the show. When you look at the picture below you will see one mess of cables and a GameCube.
The explanation for this is probably that all the at E3 were games running on an older version of the Wii development kits. The first Wii development kit was a GameCube with a Wii controller attached to it. Third party developers will receive the final development kits soon.

Super Mario Galaxy and a few other titles looked pretty good for GameCube fare.

Then again, GameCube games don\'t look bad in general... yet.

 They may look lame but they will atleast save a ton of money in the process.

Those that will buy a PS3 they will buy it because they feel it is worth the money.

as in most things, "you get what you pay for"

Wii users will not look like that unless they\'re in the mood to goof around.
 
It\'d be the equivalent of putting your PS2 controller down, then running across the room, jumping up, and diving forward to headbutt the X button.

No, but you can move it like you might move a pen. There\'s also sensitivity settings so you can move it as little or as much as you like.
 
But I will totally act like a fool from time to time. Especially playing tennis. Good fun. For Metroid it\'ll be all about serious aiming and murder. Word. ;]

These pics are done that way on purpose to depict the function of the controller. There is some kind of exaggeration there. Even if you can play the game in a more relaxed manner I dont think they would have wanted to show her sitting motionless on a chair with her hands only moving. Its like an adverdisement anyways.

 Its like a Pepsi commercial. A wet chick in a bikini drinking passionately and slowly a Pepsi, under the sun in slow motion, enjoying it as if she is having sex....I am still to see a chick in a bikini drinking a Pepsi that way.

 In this case "Wiiiii I am playing the Wiiiii, its like skaaaateboarding for reeeeeal. hahaha its so much fun, wow look, its so immersing"
