Squads in Mouding, Yunnan province, grabbed pets from their owners while they were out for walks and beat them to death on the spot, the Shanghai Daily reported.

Those who attempted to hide their pets indoors were flushed out by late-night squads who made loud noises outside to make the dogs bark.

Why would that make a difference?

It is animal cruelty at it\'s finest(worst?) and there are FAR better ways for fighting rabies.

Humans are worthless to me anyways.

I read about this before. I think about 3 or 4 people died from rabies. Thing is, the Communist gov\'t makes decisions for everyone. They deemed that all dogs in that region were potentially dangerous, including pets that had shots for rabies.

Even the most subtle thread would seem unbelievable. I would have made the title a bit more derogatory (and well...stereotypical like dog meat at the Chinese restaurants).

Little dogs cause more bites than big dogs. But when big dogs bite, well, it sometimes makes the news.

Labs bite more people than Pitts. But there are a lot more labs than pitts.

It\'s basically the responsibility of the owner of the dog. Pitts get a bad rep coz their owners can\'t handle them. After all, Pitts were bred for fighting. You can train any dog to be bad and conversly, train them to be good dogs.

I don\'t condone animal cruelty. But when people start putting animals before human beings something is very wrong in this world.

I almost gag when I see idiotic people on TV dressing their fucking dogs up with silly clothes and feed them a fucking birthday cake. IT\'S A FUCKING DOG. IT EATS DOG FOOD. Not cake. Jerkoffs.

i second that sammy...some people just have a fascination with that stuff...i saw on tv where they had some type of resort..just for dogs!...:eek:...i\'m not sure how much exactly they were chargin for it, but it was upwards in the area of thousands of dollars for your dog to stay there!...incredible....
