So that insurance check came in the mail yesterday, which means its time to find me a new laptop. So here\'s the deal, in order for me to get the most out of my insurance I need to buy a laptop equivalent to a 17"macbook. The question is, do I go for the macbook or do I buy a PC notebook thats slightly better? Its going to be mostly for school (maya, photoshop, cinema4D) but I also wouldn\'t mind it being able to play the latest games at a decent rate (if at all possible). I need to have the laptop by september 20 so waiting for any new hardware is probably out of the question unless it comes out in the next two weeks or so.
The options:
Macbook Pro 17" $2500 (with school discount)
Sager NP5760-V $2800 (after being customized to being equivalent to the Macbook +warranty)

Any other recommendations?
I\'m not necessarily looking for the best deal because my insurance will reimburse me the difference as long as its close to the macbook but I\'m also not looking for something outrageously priced either.
