Impressive, musta taken you a while to type all that up (assuming it\'s not a cut and paste).

Eternal Sonanta and Blue Dragon look interesting, too bad the vids were removed, I would have liked to see them in action.  I\'m a bit surprised that Gears of War wasn\'t playable at TGS, it\'s out soon and seems to be a \'key\' game for the 360.

They\'ve clarified the 1080p announcement a bit since:
Quote from: MS

If your 360 is hooked up via component cables:

    * Xbox 360 games can be upscaled to 1080p. Titles that run in 1080p natively (none of which currently exist) will also display without a problem.
    * HD-DVDs will display at 1080i maximum -- you can thank AACS for that.
    * Normal DVDs will play at 480p. CSS prevents anything higher (though some upscaling DVD players conveniently ignore it).

If your 360 is hooked up via VGA cable:

    * HD-DVDs, Upscaled DVDs and games can all display at 1080p with no copyright hassles.

The Blue Dragon gameplay vid is on youtube.  Eternal Sonota is on Xboxyde.  I provided links to both.  Eternal Sonota is great looking.

I think Microsoft is holding Gears of War close to its chest until X06...which happens right after TGS is over.  :)

Interesting, this gives another reason why PS3 blu ray built with HDMI on both versions are better than xbox hd-dvd combo.

The Trusty Bell screens look far more impressive than the vid or screens from Blue Dragon now that I look.  The character models seem to simple for me, and they picked a bad location to show off for the vid (indoor tunnel, bleh), although it\'s a nice fast transition from fighting to moving, which is important in that type of RPG.

There was another gameplay vid that I can\'t locate at the moment, but I think it showcased the game a bit better.  The more I see it the more I want it.  The animation is superb.
