guess you know by now but BB is canceling all online pre-orders.  It was a non-publicized link you couldn\'t navigate to from anywhere on the site, a test run or glitch I guess.

I was able to get a pre-order in as well as my bro but since they are canceled now, BB decided to give us $10 Gift Certificates.. which I think is very nice on their part.. despite my hatred for  BB  They could have given us nothing.

Here I go again: I have a working PSX console from when it first launched. I also have a PS2 that still works from when it first launched. I\'m and early adaptor? I haven\'t changed anything on them except add a hard drive to my PS2.

That is very nice, but does not in any way take away from the problems that all first batch consoles are known to exhibit. Also that\'s not really my point.

Why do you wanna spend $500 bucks on a system that is pretty much gonna collect dust(unless u want blu-ray even then). Wait till the system has a decent library. SONY has been pushing the hardware, but where is the killer software to go along with it?

If anything the Wii is the must have system this Christmas not the ps3. The wii will have games.

What\'s the difference in getting it now and getting it a month from now? Whoopdee fucking do, you get a couple games to keep you occupied until a better library comes out. If someone wants to get it now, more power to them. I play like one game at a time (which is Guitar Hero 2 now) and with as little as I play nowadays it doesn\'t fucking matter to me. I\'m only not getting PS3 at launch because I have 700 bucks left total and I have an apartment and shit to pay for. 700 will wipe me out completely so I\'m waiting until I work again.

Dreamcst, PS2, 360 - if the first batch had problems, they were far and few between. Seriously. You only hear about the bad and you\'ll never hear about the rest that work. You really think people are going to call a press conference about a working product?

So....that means early 360 adopters were idiots? And with that logic no one should be an early adopter. And if there is no early adopter then expect the later adopters to be dissapointed, because the early adopters are the ones that set the console into the market creating support for it

Its not like 360 had great titles either at launch. Most of them were mediocre or just plain decent.

Because they dont feel like its going to collect dust. And some happen to prefer a PS3 over Wii for christmass. Some like Wii\'s new gameplay style others cant stand playing old gen games with just different controls.

I dont understand why you are so annoyied. Trying to tell people what they should like and what not just because YOU dont like PS3 (not that you would)?

sony audio sucks, period.  But their TVs consistently set the bar for other manufacturers to follow.  Trinitron, Wega, XBR2, SXRD, Ruby, Qualia, Pearl...

As for their videogame systems, they seem to be pretty sturdy.  My non-launch psx and launch ps2 work flawlessly.
