Problem with my wii
« on: December 24, 2006, 08:41:22 PM »
My internet was working fine the past month, then randomly it stopped working a couple days back.  I get error code:32004  I did all the troubleshooting on nintendo\'s website but yielded no results.

Is it possible Nintendo\'s site is having an overload?  I mean the problem has only existed since the Forecast came out.

Update: It\'s not the connection, cause I did test connection and it works, it must be something on nintendo\'s end.

Got the following from googling:

Quote
Wii Error 32004:
I\'m getting the error code 32004. I have a netgear MR814 router and have tried all recommended fixes by nintendo and am still unable to update my wii.

Solution:
Got the same error with a mates Wii; by sniffing his firewall (er, I built it) we determined that the Wii\'s wireless signal was poor. DHCP config is poor; switched to static and it\'s much better... try that
