that\'s cool. if people that have good hometheater system like great quality speakers and audio processor, then its should become somewhat noticeable between lossy compression and lossless or uncompressed...
Its also depends on how much compression was put into the audio codecs. Like Titan has pointed out, lesser compression makes it much harder to discern the difference between lossy and uncompressed. Sometimes, its nearly indistinguishable.
Anyway, I would like to edit something I posted early. Most DD 5.1 have about roughly 11:1 compression. Not 15:1.
