I\'m reading Book 2 of Tomorrow Stories.

Pretty good stuff from Alan Moore, although he\'s much better with longer narratives. After a couple of issues I got a little sick of the short stories, especially when Moore goes out of his way to be outrageous and ironic.

yea i think i\'m gonna have to go back and pick up those issues of indentity crisis,..i\'ve been hearing nothing but good reviews about that title..and i\'m also shocked by what you say of azzerello,..i have his second printing of 100 bullets where this puerto rican chick is in the center of the storyline,..it was a great read...it seems he went from one extreme to the next when he went to the super-hero writing...heh and i never knew that little bit about the black captain america...

Well, I said he was great on 100 Bullets.  He\'s horrible on everything else.

Well there was a captain africa but it was more like a book and probably not the same thing.

small update...just picked up avengers #3 by bendis & finch..pretty decent so far, really interested to see where they are going with it especially with spidey in the line up...and yo in avengers#2 spidey got that a$$ whooped! go get it..artworks pretty good too...no more avengers mansion,...now they all meet at tony starks enterprises, which is his high rise complex bldg...

also coped x23...she\'s supposed to be wolverine\'s daughter or somehow these scientists got hold of wolverines dna to somehow create her.(too much to explain here but it\'s along those lines) anyway it\'s ok so far, but as with any title that an origin issue it\'s starting off pretty slow, it\'s to be expected i guess for the first few issues,..judgement is still out on this one..billy tan\'s artwork is decent enough to hold my attention, so i\'ll see how this pan\'s out...

phoenix\'s endsong?..i think that\'s the name anyway i have #1 & 2 and the story\'s interesting, but how many times are they gonna keep bringing jean grey back? s**t is not even funny anymore,..everytime she comes back the xmen say "we have to kill her..it\'s not jean"...i\'ll stick with it to see where it goes but this plotline has been done over so many times it\'s pathetic...keep that biatch dead...or don\'t kill her in the first place..

ugh i hate to say that i picked up superman by jim lee and sadly this book is one of thee most boring titles i\'ve ever read...i\'ve only stayed with it this far only because of lee\'s artwork and nothing else,..very dissapointing..

lastly i picked wolverines "the end" book #5 this was the last book in this story line and i don\'t know who the artist is but he reminds me of john buscema\'s artwork <------he\'s oldschool for those in the know ;) anyway good storyline that showed that wolverine had an older brother and how they became enemies yet there was still a sense of how they still cared if either one died..kinda hard to explain that without sounding gay...anywayt great story and great book, i\'d recommend this one....get the back issues of that one as well...

also picked up superman/darkness crossover... not bad i guess but this getting way too long so i\'ll cut this one short...judgement is still out on this one as well

and i coped the hulk/darkness crossover, and even tho it was a one shot, i felt i could\'ve wrote a way more better story, just seemed rushed all around... keowns artwork (PITT)..is ok but it doesn\'t save the comic from it\'s crappy storyline....that\'s all for now...

wow..i haven\'t updated this in awhile...and yea i know there\'s not alot of people interested in this topic, but anyway...my most recent purchses

the whole house of m series- i kinda thought this was a well rounded series, i kinda thought the heroes came on kinda too strong in wanting to kill the scarlett witch after all, the only thing she did was give them what they wanted...decent series overall...i missed the other branching crossovers after that tho...

picked up avengers 16 & 17- in 16 aplha flight gets massacured by this mysterious being from outer space...in issue 17 the avengers finally confrot this mysterious person and ms. marvel somehow ends up with the phoenix\'s power when she confronts him..meh issue 16 came on strong with issue 17 bein kinda on the weak side...mike deodado(spel) did the pencils, but i\'m shocked to say that his artwork wasn\'t that great this one...i know it makes a huge difference in whoever inks your work as well, but i can clearly tell that mike wasn\'t at his best in this one...

picked an indy book called black harvest,..pretty decent artwork is kinda cartoony, but it\'s pretty interesting. can\'t comment on this cause i\'m still tryin to figure out what\'s goin on...

picked up sylvestries hunter killer...only reason why i get this is mainly because i like sylvestries artwork...the storyline is kinda like your run of the mill storyline with some guy that has mysterious powers then some group comes along to help him perfect it then uses him to hunt down others like him..etc etc...kinda weak storyline, but the artwork is the only thing savin it..

and finally picked cyber force..i usedto collect this back in the day when sylvestry used to do it, but they have type of anime artist on it now, so i really don\'t where they are going with it, but i\'ll hang around to see what happens...

I enjoy Ultimate Fantastic Four...Ultimate Sue Storm is the hottest chick ever to grace comics. Ultimates, Ultimate Spiderman, Infinite Crisis, and a couple of Batman comics are the ones I usually try and pick up.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

meh, i just bought civil war # 7....and honestly it was a bit underwhelming....i mean there was no cliffhanger climax to the book, and the fight scenes?...*warning* spoiler.........and what was up with cap\'s attitude all of a sudden?.....i mean if he felt that way in that moment, there were numerous other scenarios that was exactly in the same atmosphere were he should\'ve felt like "omg this is a mistake"....that attitude change by cap seemed really forced and seemed like that they just wanted to end the storyline. i think it could\'ve had a much better stronger ending but it was lukewarm at best.....fight scenes were extremely weak as well....one thing i will say tho is that the artwork was strong throughout the whole series.

I was really hoping Luke Cage would of said, "oh snap dawg, they cloned Mar-Vell!"

But no one even mentioned him...pretty sure he\'s appearance should of got some reaction from someone.

And how the hell were the anti-reg dudes winning...the other guys had Sentry and Mar-Vell. /fight over

The ending made sense...because the series was designed to chance the Marvel universe and it has been accomplished. But I thought the glorified fight was dumb since it really didn\'t make a whole lot of sense. Only parts I really liked were Spider-Man kicking ass and Taskmaster shooting Reid.

^^^heh heh yea i forgot about sentry and marvel.....sentry alone could\'ve whooped cap\'s whole squad....we\'ll see what happens next...as it stands now, i\'m really lookin forward to world war hulk....I REALLY would like to see the hulk whoop some ass from those that sent him off in space. i thought the whole planet hulk series breathed new life into the hulk. i thought it was a pretty good run.
