i just copped this yesterday, and while i haven\'t finished it, i can clearly say that this is the ps2\'s last hurrah....i don\'t see anything else in the near future that\'s going to top this game...everything from the last game is here in this game in full blast....kratos is more of an anti-hero than ever in this one...and when i was playin\' this early on, i kinda got the feeling that i was playing as a bad guy....yes kratos was never really a hero, but you kinda felt for him a bit in his last outing....here it seems he\'s going back to his old ways..

graphics are top-notch and it seems that there is just action upon action in this one, the new action scenario where you ride pegasus adds a new level of challenge to the game, and the environments,...at least the one\'s that i\'ve played thru thus far are done extremely well...heh and the sexual minigame from the first game makes it\'s way back into this one..

...i\'ll update more as i go thru the game, but it starts off just like the last game in which you\'re basically fighting a boss from the jump,...controls are the same as in the last game, which i\'m glad they didn\'t change...as if you didn\'t know by now, even tho i haven\'t finished this game yet....it\'s highly recommended!

Been playing it on the PS3. I love how I can make a virtual PS2 memory card on the hard drive. I haven\'t gotten far as I was busy. Kratos is pestering the Colossus. Hope to get the big sword sooner or later. I think I know what Zeus is up to. Kratos is so dumb.

i just defeated *spoiler*........... medusa....this game is just so huge in scope,and the programmers have created some incredible visuals....some of the puzzles are a bit irritating, but it\'s still a very strong second outing for this franchise...."dante who?".....Kratos is no joke in this one....the way he kills his enemies is even more brutal than his first episode.

man I\'m lovin this series more & more... I hope it\'s a staple for the PS for generations to come. They should have made this for the PS3, it would have been a kickass reason to buy one :thumb:

I have to say I never like playing these types of games however this is by far one of the best games i have ever played. Missed the first one flying to pick it up.

Awesome! 300 set up this gem for me the PS2 the best gaming console ever really shows its glory here hehe(still waiting to get the PS3). Cant wait for the next offering.

That fat ugly bitch gave me the most fits. Kratos died several times. Realized it\'s best to just quit playing like Mohammed Ali and just go in there like Mike Tyson and go toe to tail with that bitch. I killed her quick.

Now I can play like Ali again.

heh,..no doubt, i died quite a few times as well,....i only defeated her by deflecting her powers back at her then hitting her as much as i can with less than a quarter of life left...

.....this game just keeps gettin\' better and better,....*spoiler*.....i just defeated perseus...y\'know that guy from "clash of the tians?"...heh the way they merged him into the storyline, even tho while it was brief, was brilliant...but damn,..the way kratos finishes him...it\'s just brutal!...lovin\' this game ten times over!

I love how they\'re pitting Heroes against Kratos. They can\'t use Hercules....coz Spartans believed they were decsendants of him.

heh.... finally finished it...and i gotta say, it\'s gotta be one of thee greatest games ever. the scale, epic and production values of this game are just astronomical! they achieved in makin\' the game better than the first one, and while no game is perfect, this one comes pretty darn close! i hated that it had to end, but the ending is definitely a cliffhanger for the next installment....

Somehow i fear the third installment is going to come under some heavy criticism,because of how so strong the 2nd one was. it\'ll be pretty interesting to see what they\'ll do with the ps3....whelp i\'ll be happy if they keep the same controls, because they fit the game perfectly...i know it\'s still early in the year but i can clearly nominate this for game of the year...trust, it\'s THAT good.....heh that bit of info kratos finds out at the end of the game caught me off guard as well..

...excelllent game!

The story was excellent!

I wonder if the third one will finally get Kratos to fight his dead brother (since that was mentioned in the extras from the first game).

^^^if he does end up fighting his brother,..which i kinda hope he doesn\'t..*it might seem like a devil may cry rip-off*...it might have to do with the sisters of fate...seeing how you can change your fate by them havin\' the power to do so...they were also a pain in the ass.....my ass got waxed quite a few times fightin\' them....they did so many things right in this game this time around...heh that first boss of the game(the colossus), makes the hydra from the first game look like a mini-game....and they\'ve added about twice as many bosses as in the first game...well the first game only really had like two true bosses...but it was an overall improvement.

And while i do agree that the story was great, i\'m still kinda wondering who ultimately is the bad side here....yea i understand that kratos is the anti-hero, but somewhere along the lines i was wondering if the titans were really on the "good" side....because .."spoiler"...............of the way they treated the gods early on...y\'know how they were eatin\' they\'re babies? so the game kinda portrays the gods as bein kinda like the bad guys, but the titans are no angels either,...or maybe that\'s the point, all factions involved are just worried about satisfying their own personal ambitions...
