PHOENIX (AP) -- Leandro Barbosa, among the fastest players in the NBA, ran away with the league\'s sixth man award Monday.

The "Brazilian Blur" received 101 of a possible 127 first-place votes from a media panel.

The honor came one day after Barbosa matched his career playoff high with 26 points in the Phoenix Suns\' 95-87 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday in Game 1 of their opening series.

Wonder if he said it jokingly and they\'re friends or if he\'s just being a jerk.  Dumb jocks have a tendency to bust balls more than the average ho, not really trying to hurt his feelings, but the fact that he said it in an interview is sure to get some brown people\'s blood boiling.

You guys didn\'t get it. I read that comment yesterday, and I laughed. It was obviously a joke.
 
Barbosa WENT OFF on Sunday, and he was the primary reason the Suns were able to stomp the Lakers in the second half. Kobe was making a joke by saying that he wishes the guy who just kicked their asses would play a different sport.  It\'s really a compliment.
 
What\'s so confusing about that?
