Glad to see that the officer he shot survived and made the initial report in for the suspect, preventing worse tragedy.  It seems to be a fashion these days with the general lack of respect for life that you take out as many as possible when you go, instead of just disappearing yourself a s one like this should.

Note to everyone.  If you find yourself in a terrible situation (your fault or not), yes, you can make it worse, but don\'t - minimize the harm you\'ve caused.

Speaking of mass media, me and my roommate were talking about this today. Anne Coulter got media attention when she mentioned something about gays and Imus got fired for what he said but Rosie O\'Fatass goes on The View and makes all these remarks saying that the Bush administration are a bunch of traitors, saying 9/11 was a conspiracy by the government, stating the Iran seizure of the Navy personel was a hoax by the US government to start a war, etc and there\'s no media coverage. I dunno. I just feel there\'s an unfair bias in the media.

^^^meh in the case of Rosie...i just think that nobody really takes her seriously...she\'s always been like that...i can\'t believe some still think that 911 was a gov\'t gig!..:rolleyes:....most of her s**t is pure theatre...ever since she came outta the closet she\'s been off the hook, i mean she wasn\'t as outspoken as she was now and she even looks more "butch" so to speak...i\'ve seen some news clips of her on the view and she just seems like she\'s extremely arrogant...


as far as the shooting is concerned....a**holes like these just need to kill themselves instead of involving innocent by standers....i mean who just ups and goes to the mall blastin\' people at random?...*cough* "white folk"......in another similiar scenario, there was a shooting at some mall down here in atlanta that houses the cnn newstation....the difference?... the individual..who was black came in with the gun,...specifically spotted the person of interest and offed the victim...no mass casualties whatsoever...and you white folk call us violent!...

in all seriousness tho i kinda agree with luckee... i never noticed killing sprees of this nature until columbine...maybe there was some other events that did happen before it, but i didn\'t notice them..and it\'s also true in what mm stated in that the media fuels the perps with this stuff with the massive coverage of these types of events...i\'m glad  VT has stopped receiving coverage because even tho it was a horrific event, it was starting to go on overload status...and that is exactly what that a**hole Cho wanted...
