Firefox 3 beta 3

I was waiting to get a decent beta for #3 before making the switch and I have to say I only wish I did it sooner.  This browser is much faster and more responsive than 2.x.  It just feels more stable to me, whether that\'s true or not remains to be seen, but every little inconsistency or odd Javascript hang I had on previous websites is simply gone now.  It uses the updated Gecko 3 rendering engine so JS animations are much smoother too, and memory leaks don\'t seem nearly as bad here.

It will import your current toolbar & link layout, and also check to see if your current extensions will work with beta 3.  It\'s scary that ~30% of the web is still using ie6. :ohnoes:

There\'s nothing wrong with that. XP is nice and stable, and Office 2003 > Office 2008 (at least on Mac, it might be different on PC).

Hah, let me guess; a corporate web app that only wants to work in IE6 because of lazy programmers.  IE8 is going to be released this year, you think your company will still be sticking with v6?

There\'s nothing wrong with that. XP is nice and stable, and Office 2003 > Office 2008 (at least on Mac, it might be different on PC).

I\'ll agree XP is nice and by far better than Vista.  However, on PC i like 2008 a little better than 2003.  If you dig deep there are some great features.  My only gripe is office\'s insistence to format your paper for you.

one thing that pisses me off about V2 is the memory leaks, quite often, I\'d only have FF open for about 5 minutes, and in that time it would whore the majority of my ram and I\'d end up having to ctrl/alt/del the fucker to get my comp back to a usable speed.

I still think I\'ll wait for the official release though.

I feel you, and I\'m forced to use Lotus Notes R5 which is even worse since it\'s been outdated for a long time.

Not only that but I\'m forced to use the CCI layout system... which sucks ass.
