need to break into my case

Hey guys, thats the tower that I use and it came with a key to open up the side panel. But i\'ve lost the key and don\'t want to pay for a new one unless thats my only option.

Does anyone know of any safe way to get inside the case or do I have to call Thermaltake?

why would u need a key to open ur case anyway? is there an epidemic of nerds coming in and stealing video cards in canada?

I always thought the key was stupid. Which is why i\'ve neglected it and have now lost it.

Anyways i\'m on my gf\'s PC right now because mine is barely running, have to let it sit for 10 minutes after start up before I can do anything and even after that any program I run or open takes a very long time to load. It feels like the HDD is 99% spyware. Its just so slow and sluggish that I fear something bad will happen  if I keep it running.

I removed all the porno and now its just sitting powered down so i\'m ready to take it into a computer shop. Gonna see if they can get the lock open and give it a good clean and then I need to get vista reinstalled.

If I get told something is wrong with the HDD and it needs to be replaced, i\'ll be very dissapointed So i\'ll be gone for a few weeks, don\'t everyone celebrate too loudly now. See you guys soon.

PS: The pricks at Thermaltake don\'t have a number to call for customer service, just an email address with a 48 hour response wait.

My computer repair "business" on the side has been rocking lately... basically everyone has the same problem you seem to have.  I had 4 computers last week.. and I just got 2 more today.  (all but one have been Dell)

Only 1 computer had stuff they wanted pulled off of it... had to slave the drive to my computer.. piece of cake... $125 for 1.5 hours of work isn\'t too bad  I mean, I can\'t fuckin believe people are willing to pay me $100 just to format and reinstall xp/vista whatever.  And I don\'t even advertise...yet, just word of mouth with co-workers and friends.

Too bad you don\'t live closer Joker or I could save you a few hundy.  I\'m actually starting to pull together ideas for building a new Quad core system with all this extra money I\'m getting on the side.

Do you not feel adventurous enough to attempt a clean-up/reinstall?
