Also I can confirm that telling Americans your Canadian instantly puts them at ease. I was in Florida once, fishing off the end of a pier, where I guess your not supposed to do that. A police officer came up to me and was going to give me a small fine and I said "I\'m Canadian eh, I didn\'t know any better man."

He just sighed and told me to not do it again and walked away.
