New Mortal Kombat

I\'m not big on fighting games, and the MK series has had some major downs the last while...

but the new game looks bad ass. Finally back to the normal brutality you expect from a MK game, good graphics, old school gameplay with enough new-ness to make it it\'s own game.

I\'ve been playing MK a lot on Magadrive with my friends, years and years ago, I loved it.  This one looks pretty good, I might come back to the old GOOD school with huge pleasure ;)

still damn excited about this game

http://www.gametrailers.com/video/johnny-cage-mortal-kombat/711455

as a person who sucks at (and therefore hates) fighting games, i cant wait to try this out. and oddly enough its probably near the top of my list of \'soon to get\' games..waiting for a dead space 2 price drop and i\'m not sold on mlb the show yet even though its been 3 er 4 years since my last baseball game

The demo comes out on the 15th for non PS Plus people and it came out today for people that are subscribers. And the word is from the plus users is that the game is as bad ass as it looks

and this is why i will never be good at fighting games

People dissect these games to find combos in ways i cant even picture. I\'ll definitely be sticking to offline playing or with friends who rarely play these games

I\'m liking the demo a lot. still kind of suck at the game. The later characters gave me trouble on normal difficulty, so id probably get my ass kicked on the higher ones.

And watching the video after the demo is supposed to make you want the game, but seeing those combos made me think \'fuuuuu\'

Getting frustrated really kills a game for me so im hesitant to buy it day one. But if i was good at it i could imagine the game would be awesome

Over-the-top, bloody, and bursting with content, Mortal Kombat is a return to form for the franchise.

Mortal Kombat DLC Release Date, Fighters Detailed

Quote

It wasn\'t too long ago that we heard Skarlet -- a blade-wielding hottie -- would be joining the Mortal Kombat cast, but now we know when she\'s coming and who will be coming after her. The new trailer below says "download now," but the Skarlet downloadable content will really hit the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on June 21, 2011. The trailer goes on to tease three additional characters -- Kenshi, Rain and a fighter to be named later.

Each character will be released individually this summer. Warner Bros. Interactive told IGN that a "compatibility pack" will accompany each release so that players who do not purchase the DLC will still be able to see online opponents using the DLC. These packs will be free and come with two skins (the first pack contains Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3-inspired Cyrax and Sektor). If you straight up buy the character DLC, you get the free skins as well.
