Sound Software question for theatre setup.
« on: October 07, 2010, 09:09:47 AM »
Anyone know of any software that will allow 2 playback devices to be used at the same time as defaults.

I want to be able to output sound via my HDMI output on my gfx card and out of my prelude SPDIF (toslink) output on my sound card at the same time.
I have my pc connected to a 40inch LED tv for when i watch movies and play games in 3D but hate having to always switch the default sound device to HDMI

I\'m thinking of getting a toslink splitter and just using my reciever but atm i have my tv outputting via toslink to my reciever already. Basically my TV is my HDMI reciever and my Reciever is purely for sound.

The only thing I know that allows two devices is your ex-girlfriend. If I remember correctly, she allowed two inputs in both of her ports. No splitting required~!
