UK Gamestop Cuts PS4 price Down to £299.97

The 8th generation price wars in the UK has continued today. GameStop has cut the price of the white PlayStation 4 to £299.97, according to a Tweet. This is below the current price of the Xbox One.

"£299.97 for the White PS4 Console, this is not a mistake! Don't miss out on this offer!£299.97 for a next gen console," GameStop tweeted.

Microsoft first cut the price of the Xbox One to £329.99 in September to undermine the PlayStation 4. However, just days later Sony matched the price point with a FIFA 15 bundle. Both consoles have had healthy sales since launch and the price wars has helped push even more consoles.

Cool for UK.  Suck that Cerberus has to pays the original price.  Is it possible to price match it anyway?

Paul. Let it go. If Cer is fine with his purchase and that he paid a bit more, so be it. I would be the same too. I'd be annoyed if I payed for something and a few days later but it's not the end of the world and I won't go out of my way to return it and repurchase it. I mean shit, I paid 450 for my white console. Had I known there was a price drop, I would have waited a couple months. But I didn't. It's just money, you can make more.

you are right.  its just money, you can make more.  when i say price match, i meant show the ads - say gamestop ads like a newspaper ads or gamestop website ads that the ps4 is now £300 to the online place that he first bought it from so this online place can make the price adjustment and refunds him £50.

He don't need to return the console.  He can price match it to the place that he bought it from so that place can refund him £50...but if Cerberus don't want to price match it.  That's okay, its his choice.
