Sony has updated the PlayStation 4 SDK to give developers access to another core that was previously unused.
"Core 6 is now denoted as shared, and for new captures, Razor splits the activity on that core between user and system," reads the update from Sony. "Old captures still show core 6 as a system core, as was accurate at the time they were made."
Core 6 is the seventh core that has been unlocked for developers. Previously, the available cores were listed as 0 to 5, according to sources that spoke with VG24/7. The PlayStation 4 has eight cores in total.
