Crowd is blown away by the 4K HDR graphics of the PS4 Pro
« on: October 01, 2016, 12:46:41 PM »

i got this video from this link:
http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=220905

it hard to tell from the video what non-hdr and hdr looks like recorded from a non-hdr camcorder and youtube hasn't supported hdr yet.  and our computer's monitor probably doesn't support hdr either.  but it does gives us an idea.  seeing the crowd being very impressed by the comparison of it.  i wouldn't be surprise if hdr look a lot better than non-hdr.

for previous owners of original ps4 and the ps4 slim, we can update the ps4 to support hdr for games that support it.  so you don't need to own a ps4 pro to enjoy the hdr benefit.

speaking about ps4 pro,  hopefully most games, especially new games that take advantage of the ps4 pro's extra power should run games in smooth 60 fps with little frame drop here and there should be fine.  what i meant to say is, i prefer games running 1080p @ smooth 60fps than 1440p but at 45 fps.  or say if they could make 1440p running at smooth 60fps, than that is better than native 4k (2160p) that runs at 30 fps or less...

give me smooth 60fps at 1080p over 1440p or 4k any day.
