I got this game over the Thanksgiving Holiday for 50% off at the PS Store.

This game is deep and challenging but a lot of fun. I'm still new at it at level 6. You can not hack and slash at monsters and enemies like you could in God of War. You'll win very few battles that way. Especially as you go on through the story. The world of Witcher 3 is enormous! And side quests to help your character grow.

I'm still trying to figure out which qualities of my character to upgrade. Getting money in this game isn't easy, either. You need money to repair your weapons and armor.

Anyone else play this?

This one I haven't played but I've heard good things. Is this the type of game that you have to play from Witcher 1 or will I not be lost if I jump into this one?

I didn't. I just jumped right in. Enjoying the hell out of it. Wasted 8 hours of my Sunday on this game. It's pretty deep.

I'm not into these types of games, but i have heard great things about this one. Not sure i Gman has the GOTY version, but i heard you definitely get the most bang for your buck....and yes the worlds are huge and the visuals are impressive.
