Don\'t Worry-Be Happy-PS2 just evolution

Had Atari..Had Nintendo..Had Nintendo 64..Have PS1..Always wondered and fretted over obsoletion(word?) until I realized it is just what a good capitalistic society does.  Add-ons, developer wars, all important but for me and mine I am just glad we can still play PS1 games on this new system(Ho Ho Ho!) Now me and oldest can use PS2 (after Dec 25 anyways..) and my 3 yr old and 9 yr old can use the PS1. It (the PS1) has been an awesome system worth the money that has been used extensively for a loooong time and ANY improvements can only be anxiously awaited especially with backward compatibility possible along with dvd.  So don\'t fret, me thinks, just hope we see some really motivated devs pushing the limits. If not, oh well, $300 so everybody in the house can entertain on rainy days ain\'t bad!
