Happy Birthday Jumpman and QuDDus
« on: July 02, 2021, 08:55:10 PM »

:hb: Happy Birthday Jumpman and QuDDus. :hb:

first song here is a music video that is not video game related.  since there are 2 people having the same birthday i will add 2 more songs here.  2nd and 3rd songs are nes and snes musics of the same song.  overall, i think i prefer the nes version of this song subspace more than the snes version.  the nes plays in wider keys range than the snes but the snes has better instrumentation and sound quality though despite being flatter than nes version.

so jumpman and quddus.  what did you guys do on your birthday and what did you guys get?  how are you guys doing btw?

added and updated:  i just notice that the remastered version of subspace theme has more melodies added to it than the original nes version.

at 13 seconds of the remastered version, it repeat the melody somewhat then at 22 seconds to 31 seconds of the song, it added newer melodies that weren't found on the original nes version.  so was 36 seconds to 55 seconds of the remastered version of song, it has newer melodies that weren't found on the nes version.  interesting.

actually, i got curious and listened to the original nes 1st super mario game main theme overworld and it has all the melodies that the snes remastered version has for the super mario 2.  so that might means the nes version of super mario 2 shortened the song maybe because the area that this song used, the time spent weren't long so they shortened it probably to save memory.

I am disappointed in your selections this year Paul.

I expect better next year!
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

i see.  you don't like the music video that is not video game related that i posted?  okay, i will post video game related musics every year on your birthday from now on.  the 2nd and 3rd video game related musics are an after thought and i didn't make a better selections of it.  i thought you might like the 1st music video that you don't mind listening to 2nd and 3rd musics that aren't as interesting as it could be.

didn't know you didn't like the music video though.
