problem with pictures uploading to the post

i have trouble uploading pictures to my post.  both of my pictures are nearly 2.2 Mbytes each and the file size upload limit is 10 Mbytes per picture so that means my picture is way under the limit so it so be uploaded easily but it didn't go through.  i received an error page.

i will quote what the error page said:

An Error Has Occurred!
Your attachment couldn't be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.

Please consult your server administrator for more information.

okay, i just noticed that it won't let me upload pictures of my head scar surgery removal comparisons but it will only let me upload other pictures though.  i am not sure what went wrong there?

edited and added:  finally the pictures of my head scar removal finally uploaded on the tekken 8 thread.  i have to resize the resolution down to 75% and save them in jpg to save more space i suppose.

on the first pic, it was already in jpeg and much less than 10 mbytes but it won't let me upload.  2nd pic is in tiff and also in much less than 10 mbytes but it still won't let me upload.

both of these pics are probably a little over 8 megapixels and that probably means the resolution for the forums is too high to be uploaded.  so i reduced them down to 75% resolutions and save them both in jpegs and it finally uploaded.  thanks goodness.

Pics can only be jpgs, gifs and pngs. These are the files from my control panel that say are allowed: doc,gif,jpg,mpg,pdf,png,txt,zip. I should probably update this. Sometimes too it'll get a little weird. I've had instances too where attachments don't go through. It's rare but it does happen. It usually resolves itself. Some kind of disconnect I think with the server. We're on a shared server so it may have to do with traffic from other websites and whatnot. If it's peak internet time, it may not effectively communicate with the server. Just my theory though so take it with a grain of salt If you have issues, wait a few minutes and try again.

yeah.  2 days ago when i couldn't upload the pics.  i thought joe biden abused his power and not let me upload my pics here.  then yesterday when i received that my account has been suspended.  i thought joe biden abused his power again and not let me frequent psx5central anymore.  i thought that was mean of him and i thought he was being a hypocrite when years ago, he said lets not use example of our power but power of our example.  so i was freaking out for several hours that i couldn't visit psx5central anymore.

afterward, it turned out i misunderstood him and titan finally restores the psx5central back again.  then when i uploaded pic on this thread, it worked but when i uploaded pics on tekken 8 thread, it wouldn't let me and i thought joe biden abused his power of not letting me upload pics of my face after surgeries comparisons.  then later, i tried resizing the pics of my head scar surgeries comparisons which were a little over 8 megapixels down to a little over 4 megapixels and it finally let me upload the pics.  so i misunderstood and was wrong about joe biden.

when i got the error page that i couldn't upload the pics, the error page said the file is bigger than the server will allow.  i though it meant the data size only which needed to be 10 mbytes or less.  didn't know it also meant resolution size shouldn't be too high.  the flower pics that i took pictures with the 2 decades old canon camera has a little over 5 megapixels.  it did went through on this thread.  btw, canon cameras have great color renditions compare to other brands like sony but canon cameras are behind when it come dynamic range and low noises level when compare to sony i think.  i could be wrong on this one though.

so anyway, that led me to believe i need to resize my head scar comparison pics down to less than 8 megapixels for it to send through on this forums.  i reduced both pics down to 4 megapixels and they finally uploaded on the tekken 8 thread.  then i thought maybe its joe biden's probably playing games with me trying to make me reduce the resolution pics because the pdf files that i tried to upload 2 days ago is only about 459 Kbytes which is way less then 10 Mbytes.  Then 1 to 2 or so hours later, i realized, oh those pdf files has resolution in them too and they are probably a little over 8 megapixels that is why it didn't go through.  so i got the wrong suspicion about joe biden again.

so that let me to believe that any pics shouldn't be higher than maybe 6 megapixels beside data limitations of 10 mbytes or less for each pictures.  because the flower pictures i uploaded only has 5 megapixels each and it went through.  so i believe beside file size shouldn't be too big that the error page said.  it didn't clarify resolution size limitations but only data size that is why i didn't know beside data size limitation.  it also means resolution size limitations too and it shouldn't be over 6 megapixels is what i believe.  the error page was vague on that.  so last night is when i realize that was the case.
