I\'ve been facinated with electronics ever since I was a little kid. There was just something about them.. the way they worked that got me hooked. Video games offered a way to interact with these electronics in a way I could understand when I was young. It was never for the challenge though.. I never cared for high scores or best times.. I just wanted to win and have fun while doing so. Later on, when I got my PC, video games became a world I could escape into for a few hours. I could visit wonderous lands and get thrown into compelling situations that I could never physically go to or interact with.
It\'s sort of the same reason why I game now. Lets face it, I could never fire a .40 cal pistol at my best friends head in real life without serious mental trauma and prison time. With video games, I can. The only thing is, now I also use games as a release for pent up emotions.. expecially rage, so that I\'m less likely to blow up at someone over nothing. There\'s that barrier of reality there that let me safely explore the different sides of my personality, expecially the darker side, or to take on a whole other personality alltogether. That\'s also why I got into Dungeons & Dragons and acting, but unfortunately those are activities that need to done with other people.. videogames are always right here.. right now.
