Madden 2001 Season "Q"

When you are playing in the season section of Madden, why does it ask you (when you go in to find your team) if you would like to simulate this game and all games? If you pick no, it takes you back to the same part and you can\'t go anywhere...but if you pick yes, it automatically (which really really pisses me off) simulates on of your games...why...why? I don\'t want the comp. playing my season, so how do I not have it play my season...please help, this really pisses me off too, I could be undefeated but the season and comp. automatically played one game and I lost it...so I ask i fyou know something about this if you could help me out...thanx

You chose your game...  If your game is a 1:00 game it will simulate the other ones..  If you have a 4 o\'clock game you probably have to simulate the first 1:00 games then you play yours and simulate the other 4:00 ones..  I\'ve never had a problem so I\'m not sure I have this right, but I think so...

Yeah but see I am only in a season with one Team the RAIDERS, so if it is at 4 o\'clock, then I must simulate it, but if it isn\'t then I play it??

Neo, do I have to bail you out again? (Kidding), you need to go down to your game, ensure that it is highlighted and then hit start, the game will ask you if you want to play the game or simulate it, the response is obvious.

Yeah, just go down to the game.  It\'s pretty obvious.  I think you may just be thinking too hard..  Just make sure your game is checked...

i like playing as a franchise more than with season

yea, franchise is so much better than season, I am in the 2003 season right now (Patriots) and the thing that I like is that you have to do the draft and manage the salary cap. My linebackers are the best in the league (Mike Singletary and Seth Joyner are my anchors).

is there a way to create a player and add him to your roster in the middle of the season in franchise mode?

Only way to create someone during Franchise is during the offseason.  Its been awhile since I created someone in franchise... I can\'t remember if they go to the draft or free agent list.  I would guess if you select him to be a rookie, he goes to draft.  If anything more he\'ll go to the free agent list.

All you have to do is on top it says "Weekly Schedule" and "Team Schedule" go to weekly schedule and go to your game and click 0 (Its puts a red check mark there.) the press start and it simulates all the other games and you can play.
