The game will make use of the Naomi 2\'s ability to draw ten million polygons along with numerous light sources (six, according to the Naomi 2 specs) simultaneously. The polygon power is being used to realistically model character hair, muscles and clothes (see the character shots below). Additionally, three possible examples were given of the use of light sources: lights from buildings, a search light from a helicopter, and a particularly dazzling sun!

Three other tiny details:
  • There will be a stage where bird and fish appear in large quantities.
  • A character\'s movement can influence a stage. We know this will happen through effects such as deformation of sand and snow, but will AM2 include anything else?
  • It\'s possible that a stage may affect a character, changing such things as combos. For example, in the case of snow, because there\'s no "bound," "bound" combos will not come into play.

I can\'t wait for the PS2 Version:D !!!

And you didn\'t even bash another console in your entire post.  Bravo, didn\'t know you had it in ya!

Anyway,  VF4 looks like it\'s gonna rock.  I hope it gets to the gamecube sometime.

Sega has made a tough but smart move into making games, i sure hope they do very well so they can be acclaimed as one of the best devopers...

Sure sounds nice. And will be :)

I\'ve always loved VF serie, but haven\'t got the opportunity to play it much as I\'ve never, unluckily, owned a Sega. I\'ve played VF at my friends\' houses; some of my friends had saturn and one of them owns Dreamcast.

Just can\'t wait for this game. Should I inform my friend that this great game will come to Ps2?

he could be quite shocked.
