What wwf games will be on PS2?

Does anyone know if there are any plans for a WWF wrestling game on the PS2?  I\'m sure if there is it will be great.  I mean just look at Smackdown 2 thats brilliant so whats it gonna be like on the PS2?

All we know is that it\'s in development right now, and ThQ is just waiting for a more stragetic time to announce it.......E3 maybe.

The surprise announcement that THQ struck a deal with Blue Planet Software and The Tetris Group to publish Tetris until 2004 (on X-Box, PS2, Game Boy Advance and PC), wasn\'t the surprise we expected. Instead, many journalists were waiting to hear about the formal announcement of the PS2 WWF Smackdown sequel with Japanese developer Yukes. Although Farrell joked about "categorically denying" WWF on PS2 at the podium, he told IGNPS2 later on that Yukes was in the early stages of development with WWF Smackdown on PS2. It appears that THQ is waiting for a more strategic time to announce its next-generation PS2 wrestling game.

Why can\'t you refer to a site on this board?  People refer to ign all of the time.

I wouldn\'t say, "Hey everybody, come join my forum."  But that\'s a direct conflict with his board.

He may not even have a problem with that....  dunno...



But WWF?  It would make a good video game, but I could never watch it.

       That smackdown3.net hasn\'t got anything on it.  Its crap.  It better get better or i don\'t think they\'ll have many visiters.
