a possible future PS2 game...?! i think so myself

this game (Planetside) has been briefly talked about in this forum but i thought i\'d bring it up again with current pics,afterall it is a Sony developed game

i remember ! i was one of the ones that posted some

notice the tall grass,i wonder if there will be stealth (sniper) tactics in the game like how Delta Force allowed you to do?

Looks pretty cool, but what exactly is the game about?

The game looks great.

Anyway, is this a FPS or a regular action game?

Is it a PC game? Who are the developers?

Hey Thy, from what I\'ve heard it\'s supposedly an online only game (You can train offline though) where you join one of four competing corperations. As an employee, it\'s your job to kill, steal, destroy, and whatever it takes to gain land from the opponents corperations. Instead of just randomly collecting your ammo and vehicles, you can buy hardware from your corperation though your "Paycheck" or pick it up from enemies you\'ve slain.

It\'s being developed by one of Sony\'s inhouse developers, so it\'s almost a sure bet it will show up on the PS2 as well.

At this point its only been  announced for the PC and its a full Online game.

and it\'s being developed by Sony\'s very own 1st party studio  Verant Interactive, so chances are high it will grace the PS2 eventually.

I think they are going to get the PC version up and running and working the bugs out of the game then re-make it for the PS2 so it will be at least 2 years before we see it on the pS2.
