Well for those of you who saw my little letter to Sony and wondered what would happen if you had to do the same I\'ve got some splainin to do.
I received an e-mail Monday morning and the phone call came today from California. He confirmed my suspicions that my box was out-of-whack. He said that no PS1 games have had any freezing problems, but there were some graphical problems with a few PS1 games that are listed on their site.
Furthermore the gold-backed DVDs should not skip and lose audio on a dual-layered disc. So I\'m sending it to Michigan where it\'s a 15-20 day repair time from the time it gets assigned to a technician, at most. The earliest he said could be 5 days.
They\'re throwing in a new PS1 game and extending my warranty another 90 days from date of return. Well it\'s off tomorrow or Friday.
