PS2 Rayman Revolution Sad........
« on: January 10, 2001, 10:50:05 AM »
Just finished Rayman Revolution with all lums and freed all hostages, in other words 100% completed.
Now i rather like the game but i\'m dissapointed at the crappy ending. I mean you can finish the game without getting
all of the lums & hostages (which i did first time around) but this is the same ending as when iv\'e collected all the lums etc.
Now i\'m a bit miffed at this... not only are you not able to save the game after you\'ve defeated the last boss, there
apparently seems no reason to have to fight him as you can complete the game 100% without even bothering with him.
So in all reality you can\'t finish the game properly because when you load the game back in, you are back to the same spot
where you last left it E.G Before defeating the boss. just for those who don\'t know, when you defeat the final boss
the game has a small ending and then plonks you back to the
title screen where you choose..New Game, Load & Language.
It just seems to me that there are too many loose ends with game.
Ahh well off to the shop to trade in then....

I met him 15 years ago, I was told there was nothing left, no reason, no concious, no understanding and even the most rudamentory sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong, I met this 6 year old child with this blang pale emotionless face and, the blackest eyes, the devils eyes, I spent 8 years trying to reach him, and then another 7 trying to keep him locked up because I realised what was living behind that boys eyes was purly and simply evil.

Must be the same ending as the 64 version. i\'ve already beat it 3 times so i don\'t think i\'ll go for the PS2 version. :D

Nearly every preview I\'ve read, and almost every person I\'ve talked to concerning the game has said that it\'s awesome, and easily one of the best platformers available for any console right now.

The Game is amazing... but now you spoiled the ending StAnZo... :(

But hey, now I\'m not expecting much, so I should thank you.

The game kicks ass but maybe you could say it\'s little too easy... But I\'m playing it with my little-sister so it\'s she who plays the game most and it\'s just as hard as it should for my little sister...

BTW where can you find those multiplayer levels because the back-cover of the game says that there\'s three different multiplayer -options.  A hidden secret?

The game is atmospherical, good, awesome... but don\'t let the ending mislead you. Buy the game. It\'s good.

Sorry man for spoiling it for you. Play it through though, it\'s well worth it!. as for the multiplyer levels....
You have to buy them from the shop, they are under the fun section. I\'m not sure if you are able to buy these straight
away tho\'. i tried after i\'d brought everything else, so you may need to do this too. you will also get an extra
level by collecting all lums and captives on a level. and there is another way, but you need 10 lums each time.
You will occasionally visit or meet a magical lady who will open up the extra levels for you.
Sorry if i\'d spoilt the ending for you, but i still hope that you manage to finish it.

Yes, it\'s pretty good and you can find the DC version for cheap, Go for it! BTW the original Rayman is one of the most challenging platformers i\'ve ever played, and you can also find it at a bargain price.
