Issue #5 of PSM2 in UK.DVD issue!!!!! Videos of GT2000,MGS2,Onimusha,Dark Cloud,etc!!

I have been looking for this issue for weeks and the last one was sitting on the shelf in GAME!
I picked it up and ran to the till!
What an issue!
Dvd with Videos of games out now,coming soon,tips-with videos of all courses of SSX showing you the short cuts,Tekken Tag moves,and extras like PS2 Emotion(?).

If you see this magazine,PSM2,and i repeat PSM2,get it!

I live in Holland and already have that one for a couple of weeks, the mgs2 trailer is the one you already know, only on dvd format, that one is quite cool, the gt3 movie is actually made at the time it was still called gt2000, it\'s alright, but it is obvious that it\'s not the gt we know now, it\'s far from finished in that movie, no AA and the crowds don\'t even exist, also the tips sction with the ssx courses and ttt tricks kinda sucks, nothing new in there, but overall it is quite a cool disk, if you can get it, I say go for it

Not sure if it\'s shipped outside of Europe, maybe? Go ask your newsagents for it.

I was going to post about the issue yesterday but I found myself writing an angry rant that I didn\'t dare post.

The DVD was a disappointment to me.

The GT3 "video" was a collection of really old and some newer material, badly edited, with the sounds occasionally being anything but correspondent to what ran on the screen.

The Dark Cloud vid was too brief, but pretty.

The only proper trailer was the Onimusha one. Which was cool.

And everyone\'s seen the MGS2 trailer by now, right?


What really pissed me off was the "tips" section... the DVD case promised of the SSX section : "All the shortcuts!". I just wonder why didn\'t they show even a fraction of the shortcuts then! The only one where they showed a decent one was Mesablanca. The guy (or some of the editors\' neighbour\'s dog as I could imagine) couldn\'t play worth ××××!! I was so aggravated! They made big, empty promises. Bastards. None of those "tips" are useful to anyone...

I really felt like I spent my money there... the mags cost a fortune here in Finland...

We surely do... I don\'t think I\'ll be buying that crummy piece of a mag anymore... the only mag with a cover DVD I\'ll buy in the future is the one with the playable GT3 demo.

There is a danger that\'s a demo of the age-old build too and once again I\'ll feel cheated.

Or maybe I just oughta stick to downloading the trailers from the \'net and save my money for the games themselves...

My local Barnes and Noble here in the US still only has issue #04.... since I cant use the DVD though (can I?) I guess it\'s not a big deal... well, except for the fact that the mag rocks...

I agree with you when you say that the Onimusha movie is the only proper trailer aswell but i think you should buy this magazine because it has honest reviews that can be trusted and a decent staff.
And if you haven\'t seen the MGS2 movie(where the hell have you been!!) then you must buy this issue!!!!

The mag that you should seek is PSM2. This has a DVD and the quality of both the pakaging and content is Top Quality
It\'s imho the best UK Playstation 2 magazine out there. Even better than the official PS2 mag.

No I mean if anyone knows a DVD player that takes pictures directly from the DVD(I used to have the old Xing DVD player which could do just that but I dont have it now) and then someone could upload them into a URL for posting them here.
