According to the numbers, the PS2 was the top selling non-portable console with a total of 50,550 units sold during the week for $15,130,490 in revenue. The second best selling console? Well, it\'s definitely not the Dreamcast or Nintendo 64. Sony\'s other system, the PS one, sold 50,155 units during the week, only 395 units less than PS2, for an overall value of $4,991,216.
The Nintendo 64 came in third with only 16,391 systems sold, of which 11,479 were of the Atomic Purple variety, and the Dreamcast followed this with a 14,133-unit sell through. Oh, and for the diehard 16-bit fans, the Sega Genesis sold a whopping 47 units during the week, while the Super NES didn\'t sell a single one.
For handheld fans, the Nintendo of America sold a total of 51,735 Game Boy Colors during the week and SNK found eight people out there willing to buy its system.
