Canadian developer, IRD1 Industries Limited, announced earlier today that their first PlayStation 2 title, currently known as PS2 Project, will feature USB printer compatibility to feed the craving of all you game crazed PS2 maniacs. According to IRD1 president, Zain Dinath, players will be able to connect a PC printer to the PS2 via its USB port and print out information from the game, which is one large step for gaming and technology. IRD1 claims to have outlined a strategy that will not only enhance their product offering to the consumer base worldwide, but also plans to aid the big boys at Sony and its peripheral distributor\'s value add for every product sold. A very fine plan indeed which should fall under the satisfaction category for us PS2 gamers (go us!).
Here is what IRD1 president, Zain Dinath, had to say regarding the issue: "As we have been designing our product we have spent a lot to time understanding the sales channel and have a grasp on what consumers are looking for and what all potential players in the console market are looking to add. IRD1 has invested a lot of time in studying the competitive landscape of this emerging console market, and are confident that our product will certainly find a place in the hearts of gamers that long for the benefits of old school gameplay, and the advancements in PlayStation 2 technology."
