Dreams about games...

(Warning: really strange thread past this point..)


Okay, I\'ve been playing games waaaay too much lately. I can tell because I\'ve started dreaming about them again. (Yes, this has happened to me before.) A few nights ago I began dreaming I was playing RE4(yes, 4). The wierd part was that I was pretty much in the game. Everything looked semi-real, like a really suped-up computer had produced almost perfect graphics. I was wandering through a huge cemetery that had a bunch of mausoleums and such in it and I kept getting attacked by people(mostly kids)that I think were dead(or just really dazed.) I kept shooting them down with my pistol but it was taking a long time. Then a friend of mine appeared and she showed me how I could simply grab their heads and twist them till they broke. She did this a couple times and then took off again (apparently she was playing the game as well.) Well, I decided to try this new strategy out but the first time I did I couldn\'t get the sucker\'s head to move - it was locked in place. After a few seconds I ended up ripping his face off, leaving his skull exposed. I got the heck out of there and the dream finally changed to something else at least semi-normal(for me anyway.)

So I was wondering if anyone else here had ever had crazy dreams based on the games they were playing(or wanted to play.) And just to be safe, I\'d rather not hear about any dreams involving Lara Croft, Rinoa, or any of the women from DOA2. There are kids that come to these boards you know...

I once had a dream where I was being chased by one of the big pink demons from DOOM. (I had this dream a long time ago) No matter where I ran to, I couldn\'t shake him.. he just kept comming after me. I don\'t know how I got away, but I managed to get to my friend Jacoba\'s house and told her about my situation. Then she took me into her room, lifted up her carpet and revealed a wooden trap door. She opened it up and we went down in the "Basement" which was like a 20 foot long hallway lined with wooden plates. Then I remember she pushed a button and all the wooden plates flipped around, and they were loaded with all kinds of heavy artillary. It reminds me of a cross between the scene in T2 where Sarah Conner and the Terminator found the weapon cache in the desert and the scene in MIB where they\'re at the pawn shop.

Anyway, I loaded up with grenades, Shotgun ammo, a few pistols, and a minigun and headed to Wal-Mart. (Why, I have no idea..) The demon was there, and I started fighting him, but none of the bullets had any effect, it just kept twitching and making those funky grunting noises. Then I remember running from it and seeing the cars flip as it pushed them outta the way. After that I think I woke up, so I don\'t know how the fight turned out. Guess I won.

Are you sure your not wanted in any States.

Sonyfan I\'m guessing its a good thing you woke up cause your were up ****s creek without a paddle

I haven\'t had dreams of that I\'d be INSIDE a game, but I have had dreams where I play games a little then move onto another part of the dream.

BUT it sounds strange...

Maybe you play little too much!

Because things you see as dreams are images reflected from back of your brain when you\'re sleeping. So the images have really burned into you, or something

I\'ve seen plenty of dreams about games. Also game-like dreams. Where I\'m shooting at some weird monster or fighting with some ninja etc. These dreams are the best! I see these wonderful adventure dreams where I\'m the heroine. I save the world. I love dreams.

If I play all day (weekends) I will often dream I\'m in the game.

Since I play Rpg\'s alot, usually they are fitfull dreams where I\'m trying to figure where to go next.

I\'m not sure, I think I removed all the traces before I left...

Actually, I had several game-related dreams not too long after I got RE3. Nemesis just got into my head and wouldn\'t go away. I ran from him in my dreams several times. Luckily he never caught me. (You would think just once I could have a dream about Rinoa. But nooooo, I always have to dream about the stupid monsters!:()

I only dreamt about the babes...Kasumi,Ayane,Lei Fang etc etc....

I dreamed I was in mortal kombat one time!

well if i could ever remember my dreams for more than five minutes after i wake up it would be cool

i know i have had some really weird dreams and i wish there was a way to record your dreams onto a VCR while you slept

that would rule - imagine waking up to see an episode of your dreams on your tv - dang i must invent this device and become rich off of it

but anyway - i mostly dream about real life ordeals with twists - like being at school and all of a sudden everybody is taken away and i am by my self running through the never ending halls only to find my self moving slower - ends up i was stuck in place - then i woke up - it was weird feeling when i woke up - my legs were numb

when i wake up tommorow - if i remember i will post my dream

Sometimes I dream that I\'m playing something. And once I\'ve been inside Doom.

Hehe, I used to play Doom a lot; to near death, and I dreamt about it only once.

But I\'ve had nightmares; and RE2 has really effected the dreams to be really gory. The zombies, the sounds; but the scenery and characters are way different than in the games.

But I\'ve seen lots of dreams about movies. That I\'ve been in a movie. The coolest one I think was Indiana Jones -type dream.
