no pne knows all speculation
Ther is so much to consider
a.) Most casual gamers have and ISP for there PC and don\'t want another ISP bill to add to there monthly budget
b.) SOny has huge plans for online gaming and so much other broadband content. Its part of Sony\'s future and they are investing HEAVILY INTO IT. This is why we have read about 10 - 20 different partnerships by SOny and other online/imnterent companies etc...
c.) Since SOny sees a big future in online content it has to find away to make it very attractive to casual gamers and PS2 owners in general. If we\'re paying $100+ for the HD/Ethernet card, $35+ a months for Sony BB ISP, and then paying to download movies and music and all the other stuff. You know its going to fail.
So how SOny get the HD/Ethernet card into the majority of PS2 owners expansion bays, Gets them hooked up conveniently and affordably is still a mystery, but SOny has to have a big plan, one that makes the whole package conveinent and very affordable or else forget about it
