For those of you who does not know what this is..its a 1970s Jackie Chan martial arts movie.I just watched this yesterday and its still superb as ever.
This one is a classic because it has no exaggeration(flying here and there).
The story goes as Jackie Chan who saves an old man\'s life many times from being killed by pursuing enemies and in return the old man decided to teach Jackie the Art of Snake Kung Fu.
You can see the details of this martial art movie for there are numbered foot and palm drawings on the floor for beginners to learn the art of escaping.
The Snake Kung Fu is a powerful skill as mere mortals cannot defeat anybody who owns this skill. The only person who can defeat the old man was his old enemy who uses The Eagles Claw skill. The old man knows of this and keep on running away from his enemy.
In a friendly duel before Jackie knew the bad guy was his master(old man) \'s enemy...Jackie tested his Snake\'s skill on the bad guy..all Jackie\'s moves can be easily countered.
Later back home...he found out that a cobra was fighting with his cat.The cat eventually defeated the cobra. He was inspired by the cat and invented his own moves..the Cat\'s Paw.
In the final duel,
when Jackie\'s master was about to be killed by his arch enemy..Jackie intervened and uses his Cat\'s Paw against the confused enemy("What move is this?").It was one of a breathtaking battle ever ,about 50 blows were exchange and the last move Jackie combine the Snake and the Cat\'s move together as he jumped and hold the bad guy\'s neck with both his legs using both hands as 2 snakes hitting the guy\'s face. The bad guy lie on the floor and Jackie squatting, legs still holding the enemy\'s neck deliver the Coup De Grace by using the both Cat\'s paw(hand imitation of a cat\'s paw) against the side of the enemy\'s forehead.
The old man then ask Jackie"What shall you call this move", Jackie replied "Cat\'s Paw".
The old man then laugh" What an ugly name..i shall call it ....Snake In the Eagle\'s Shadow".
Again i prefer Jackie act in old China martial arts movie rather than being chased by terrorists series. This movie i mentioned has rich content and depth...i recommend anyone who likes martial arts to watch this show.
