PlayStation 2 version of MSR heavily rumoured

No one’s ready to confirm this as yet, but strong talk of a new version of Metropolis Street Racer is starting to stick

According to several senior sources this morning, Bizarre Creations is to release Metropolis Street Racer on PlayStation 2. Neither Sega or Bizarre reps were willing to comment officially on the subject .
Insiders close to Sega have confirmed the inception of the game to CVG, as have two independent development sources. Talk is also doing the rounds of a PC version, but from what we’ve been told the PlayStation 2 outing is definitely on the money, and may possibly even be a sequel.

Bizarre is to show a first-party Microsoft game at Gamestock in Seattle next week, and any hint as to the identity of this project simply doesn’t exist. We’ll keep you posted.

It\'s a really good racing game, diferent from all others out there. You have to do little test\'s in order 2 advance in the game and get new cars. The DC version has really good graphics and scenarios from London, San Francisco and Tokyo. This game is fun and is a good thing that is comming to the PS2.

I hope this is true,because i didnt get it for the dreamcast,so if it is true,looks like i made the right choice.

It would be nice to see the game on PS2.I liked the game and it had very nice graphics.Especially night time stages.
I expect a lot better from the PS2 if it is ever released on it.

they better make the cars look better, cause IMO they look like crap on dc!

Cause is a different kind of racing game. Instead of racing in circuits you race in cities and not always the goal is to make the best time. In some courses the style with wich you drive gaves u more points or $$$ that driving faster. Belive me. It\'s a great game and it\'s greater 2 see it o the PS2

eeehm...MRS is texture wise very good so ps2 will have trouble ahndeling it, but it has TONS of jaggies and the poly count ain\'t that high

i think bizzare must have really good programmers to port this title to ps2

but yeah..cool anyway

The game is amazing, especially for a DC game.  It\'s fun, challenging, and beautiful.

I am tired of hearing about jaggies.Jaggies or no jaggies the difference wouldn\'t be much.

Jaggies are somethging Sony haters brought up to fight the PS2.Now it seems the jaggie issue stacked everywhere.
