Rgb Cable,please Help?

Ok i am not sure about a RGB cable,i have a ps1 offical scart is that RGB,or do i have to buy a new lead?

I don`t know exactly.I have both the original Euro AV scart cable and a RGB cable.On the original plug there are 14 pins,and on the RGB cable there are 20.Maybe the Euro AV is just a normal Av with a scart plug?
While playing I see no difference though.

Simple answer:

Both are Scart.

RGB: The scart end is full of pins with nothing missing.
Composite Scart: The scart end has pins missing.

Although just because you have RGB Scart doesn\'t mean your TV will benefit, you need a TV which has an RGB scart socket, otherwise the picture will just be the same as composite scart.

Another addition is that if your television set has 2 or more scart sockets, normally the 1st scart socket (Scart 1 or AV1)
is designed for RGB. The other scart sockets are designed for composite inputs only. you can use a RGB scart lead in
these sockets but you will not get an RGB Quality picture.

Yeah my scart has all the pins,so if i put it into the first scart i am still not going an RGB picture quality?So how can i get an RGB picture quality?
Also does it make alot of difference?

Ethan, if you put it into scart 1 or AV1 then you WILL get a true RGB picture.
