New pics of ESPN X Games Skateboarding

Gamers.com posted these new pics of the PS2\'s first skateboarding game, ESPN X Games Skateboarding.









Not as good as Tony Hawk 3 but it\'ll have to do for all you skateboarding fans. I don\'t think I\'ll pick it up personally. Heres the article:

"Set to debut on the PlayStation 2 before the Birdman (Tony Hawk) arrives on any next-generation platform, ESPN X Games Skateboarding promises to be the best skateboarder on the PlayStation 2 for at least a couple months (if not a whole lot longer if it can dethrone the king). Konami\'s extreme entry will hit the PlayStation 2 in August of 2001 and will feature everything you expect from a skateboarding game: three tournament stages based on the 2000 X Games in San Francisco, six action stages in a variety of locations, eight skaters, a practice mode, two-player split-screen, 64 skateboards each with its own unique stats, and of course, the requisite funky/hip/alternative soundtrack.

Until the game comes out or until we get a preview copy, satisfy yourself with these screens (of which at least two are renders...we\'ll let you decide which ones are real)."

Yeah...I\'m sure Tony Hawk 3 will beat it into the ground with graphics, knowing what Neversoft has done with the visuals on PS. It looks good though, real good...

is he on the titanic or something?
