I haven\'t heard any confirmation yet.  Is he still voicing Snake in the NTSC version?

I know Hideo wants him to do Snake, but there\'s been no confirmation as of yet.  I guess we\'ll see in a few months.

I hope he does (obviously) because it would really help to maintain a sense of continuity between MGS and MGS2, and the same goes for Otacon\'s voice too.

i hope so, i liked snakes voice in MGS, it suited the character prefectly in my opinion, it would be a treat for him to do it again for one of the most anticipated games of 2001, but  good for snake :p
\"So are you going to kill her off?\"
Are you insane! I love her character, she stays.
\"The only thing loves done is put you in this position, I say kill her off!\"
Yeah, but you say a lot of things..
and how does that work....  You\'re a bicycle..

I don\'t know if you guys know this, but Hayter WROTE the script and story to the Xmen movie. He has been getting many many film offers, such as, to write, direct, and star in Pitch Black 2. The reason why the demo has Japanese voices is because they really want Hayter, but can\'t get him because he is to busy. I wish Konami the best of luck in getting ahold of him.
\"You know back before the war broke out I was a saucier in San Antone. I bet I could collar up some of them greens, yeah, some crawfish out the paddy, yo\'! Ha! I\'m makin\' some crabapples for dessert now, Ya hear! Hell yeah, ha!

I knew Hayter wrote X-Men, but I don\'t think his current unavailability is the reason for the Japanese voices in the MGS2 demo. The MGS demo that was on OPM a few years back was also all in Japanese. I think it\'s just because they\'ll (Konami) wait till the game\'s finished before they work on the US voices.

They better get Hayter. He IS Solid Snake, and without him it would really ruin the whole experience.

I\'m sure Konami will flash some $$$ and get him on board. Besides, who wouldn\'t want to be Solid Snake???

Perhaps he found out that Solid Snake is gay...

Nah, I too think he should be it. Otherwise it just wouldn\'t be quite the same. :)

I sure hope he comes back to do snake.

As do the people who do Revolver O and Octagon..

Does anyone have new details on the game.

Did Meryl die ? What happened to the Cornel and Naomi ???

Want answers :)
I met him 15 years ago, I was told there was nothing left, no reason, no concious, no understanding and even the most rudamentory sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong, I met this 6 year old child with this blang pale emotionless face and, the blackest eyes, the devils eyes, I spent 8 years trying to reach him, and then another 7 trying to keep him locked up because I realised what was living behind that boys eyes was purly and simply evil.

He has said that that he is in talks with Konami, gee no real surprise there. There is an interview with him, just after the Hideo interview on the Electric Playground website. This episode aired back in Nov., so the info is old and not even close to being insightful at the least. Just thought that I\'d post a link for anyone who has not seen it already. Click on Season 5, episode 4, and the Hideo interview starts in about 1/4 of the show. Dial-up subscribers take warning.
