yeah i got my old memory card, i had left it around my mates and had to wait a few days to get the card back though.Done the first part so many times cos i had to play that game or i would of gone crazy.....Done it about four times.Can you save any ps1 game to the ps2 memory card?? im sure i did it on another game.....but that is probably y my old ps2 memorycard blew up,with all my timesplitters, ssx, ttt,doa2 data on it, had to do everything again...which wasnt very nice:D

You can not save ps1 games onto the ps2-memo card, no way. The explanation is, that Playstation one memory card uses block system, as the playstation 2 memory card kinda has a very tiny "hard-drive", if you can call it that

But back to FFIX. It is already very moody game; it does represent the old final fantasy, bringing nostalgia even before my eyes ( as I\'ve played few old Final Fantasies; V and VI ) - all from moogles to flying ships

I love the present system ( the system in FFIX ), but nothing beats the "job" system in FFV ( I think it was V ) - it\'s just so plain simple but yet can be complex enough.

What do you think of old school final fantasies, and should we make a thread to their name?

unfortunately i ve never played final fanatasy 1-6, but would love to play them, I think that they should release a compulation disc(s) of them all. You should start a thread about them. Are they as long as the others?????? And if soooo how did you ever complete them when you couldnt save them ( as in on the 8-bit computers) and that brings me to a point,people remember games being soooo much harder and addictive, that because you couldnt save them and you had to spend so many hours playin them straight, which i did on regular occasions. the longest ive ever played a game for is 22 hours straight, that was wwf warzone(i think) on the ps1, id just got, and went round my mates with my computer to have a party, but it just ended up me and three mates playing the computer all day and night,i stopped at 7 in the morning, cos my eyes hurt a lot:D I hardly talked to any one and only ate between loading up times:D
