LOL...HALO LOOKS LIKE THE SAME DAMN GAME WE SAW EONS AGO....god, this was the disappointment of the show for me....months and months of work yet NOTHING has changed....MGS2 is still FAR superior than this PC port.
Yet GT3 and MGS2 are STILL the most wanted and most impressive games on the PS2, despite the fact that it is now a year since the console was released in Japan!
Whilst MGS2 is impressive (and a totally different game!), it just doesn\'t compare to Halo graphically. Of course in gameplay terms, things could be different, but we\'ll have to wait and see (the MGS2 demo was excellent but it didn\'t exactly blow gamers away!).
1/2 the power eh?...the xbox does 125mpps fully textured and lit(according to mighty Microsoft)....now half of that is around 50-60mpps to work with(xbox is VERY VERY easy to use right)...do any of those game even look like they have 50mpps polygons?...nope.
And where did they claim 125mpps INGAME? That\'s right NOWHERE. Hence at 50-60mpps on the NV20, you will NOT see 50-60mpps INGAME! That should be OBVIOUS!
Like ALL gaming systems, the more effects you use, the greater the impact on polygon rate.
Where\'s the PS2 game with 66mpps INGAME, or even half that figure INGAME? Like an explaination as to why there will never be such performance from a PS2 game? Or do you still not understand how 3D hardware works?
so not it\'s TGS eh?...I\'M SICK OF THIS....first CES...then Gamestock now TGS and later E3?....xbox already failed to deliver 2 times now.....

As I said before, we are only NOW starting to see XBox games on NV20 hardware. Gamestock is NOT the main event of this month (hence no major announcements). Next there is GDC, an opportunity for developers to show each other what they can do (i.e. to show off), hence we should see more interesting games there. Then of course, there\'s TGS.
But also, let\'s not forget that all we\'ve seen are a few of MS\'s FIRST-PARTY games 6 month\'s before launch.
Compare these to Sony\'s first-party launch game(s), i.e. Fantavision. Hmmm.....
As DR\'s Vent says;
http://www.dailyradar.com/columns/game_column_663.html "Of course, this is only the first-party stuff, and if the PS2 launch taught us anything, it was that third-party games can carry you when your first-party lineup is weak. Can you imagine how PS2s would have sold if there had been no Madden, SSX or TTT -- and Fantavision had been the only launch title? Ouch."
Hmmm...
XBox\'s first-party lineup is looking SIGNIFICANTLY stronger than Sony\'s effort. Hence I\'m REALLY looking forward to the third-party games!
here is a preview of TGS:
Konami PS2 games: 10?
konami xbox games: 1?.....

That means nothing! When Konami first demonstrated MGS2, not only was this the ONLY impressive title from Konami, but it was the only REALLY impressive PS2 title at the show!
ONE incredibly impressive game means much more than 10 average games (and no I\'m not saying Konami\'s PS2 games will all be average!).
