Tenchu 3 coming to PS2

Did you heard that?

Tenchu 3 is being developped for PS2, by a new team (can\'t remember the name).

Anyway, there\'s not much mor info about that, but it\'s cool news (even if I was very very disapointed with
Tenchu 2)

Where did you hear about this? I guarantee my roommate would be interested if it\'s true. If you have a link please post it.

TEnchu 3 development having problems : Acquire, who devlopped the 2 first chapters, would have stopped the project for unknown reasons.

It seems that Activision has recently bought Tenchu\'s copyright from Sony.

The new developpment team is japanese, and is called "K2 LLC"

i would say tenchu was one of the great games for the psx and 2 was alright and it tried alot of new stuff three should be great from any development team i hope kinda like onimusha

Tenchu was great!  It was really fun sneaking around and killing enemys by suprise.  No more fog problems, it is on the ps2 now.  It should be one great looking game!

I thought the first was a lot better than the second, but maybe they can clear up some of the problems in the new one. Thanks for the info.

Ok I got some new news about Tenchu 3 :

Eventually, it\'s Acquire Studio who will developp Tenchu 3. Ths news has been confirmed by Activion.

There\'s no indication of when we\'ll get it.

Tenchu was an absolute blast to play.  Not only were you sneaking around killing people, you were a NINJA sneaking around killing people in very violent ways!  This game was the sh*t, which is why the second one was such a huge disappointment to me.  The camera just plain sucked ass; they could have literally just released Tenchu as it was with new levels and I would have been completely happy; as it was they fixed something that was not broken.  Hopefully they will not mess up Tenchu 3.  I would love to see the series return to glory.

That was the whole problem with the second one - they \'fixed\' a lot of things that didn\'t need it. They made the camera too difficult to use, they made the combat frustrating as hell, and they absolutely ruined the grappling hook. I hope they keep all the complaints in mind when they make the next one...

Tenchu was one of my favorites of all time on PSX.

Absolutely incredible game that was ground-breaking, despite the release of another AWESOME game, MGS.

I actually bled while playing MGS, if you can believe it, but for authentic stealth and true ninja gameplay Tenchu was boss.

Never played T2 however, but I would love to just go get it.  \'Specially since it has a level editor.

Tenchu on PS2 has my brain on fire!  Just thinking of the possibilities crammed on a 4 gig DVD so it is just bursting with ninja wholesomness!

I hope they don\'t make it too arcadey too.  Hacking and slashing your way through enemies; that ain\'t a ninja game.
