have any of you ever bought systems at their launches before this one? Compared to other systems launches PS2 has a great selections of games. The dreamcast launch was horrible, I got so discouraged I sold and bought 2 dreamcast trying to decide wether to stick with it or not. Alot of stuff hyped around the launch were either delayed or cancelled all together. All the stuff I was waiting for didn\'t come untill a month or 2 before PS2 came out. I know Ps2 launched a while ago but from my experience it takes a half a year to a year to pick-up. I bet alot of you didn\'t get Psone untill it had been out for a while (not saying all of you) so you didn\'t notice it then. Think about this, the average development period for a great game is like 2-3 years, PS2 has been out about 4 months and developers had dev. systems maybe a year at most before that and that\'s not close to final hardware. I\'m willing to bet microsoft\'s launch has similar hiccups in terms of games, but fortunatly, they concentated on getting as much quality software at launch as possible (Munch well in development when they picked it up and was supposed to be PS2 launch.) Unfortunatly, most of this is American software, which doesn\'t have as good a track record as Japanese software. I\'ll stop babling now, sorry so long.
P.S. You should all buy indrema, it\'s good for the industry, and maybe you lazy ass\'ll even make a contrabution of your own. I can see it now. Members of forums like this getting together to create development teams, this must be a dream!
