I don\'t know if I would buy something like that 3rd party.  I find it hard to believe that you will be able to up the resolution of the PS2 just from the output wire.  If that were the case then the wire that comes with the PS2 is really downconverting info to make it 480i..  Apparently there will be a VGA adapter, but if it is just making native 480i into 480p or better then it\'s essentially just a line doubler.  I want the PS2 to produce the progressive image natively.  That\'s when it will kick arse on the big screen.  Am I in a fantasy world?

Why would anyone want to browse the internet on their PS2?  Television screen resolution is 720X486.  That sucks...

THe best that the PS2 VGA card will do is a 720 progressive image.  That is what I am looking forward to for games, but I would never browse the internet with it.
