Also before everyone believes the rumor, maybe we should just wait and see.  I mean after all if we believed everything about the PS2, we would already have PS3 in our hands.

Also another interesting note is that SQUARE is losing a ton of money and either Sony has bought them out to go to first party or they want to screw themselves up.  

So I just don\'t give credence to this rumor.

Actually I wasn\'t. I just have passionate feelings of hatred towards the Xbox and this news is more bad news for it which is good news.

But I don\'t see Square developing only for PS2. They can make more money by developing for more systems.Once that braindead idiot Nintendo President Yamauchi retires I think Square will jump on Nintendo\'s ship with a few games.

ddaryl- ok fine, it\'s all about opinions anyway, and this is a PS2 board so it\'s pretty much useless to argue on my part.  My ps2 is seriously collecting some dust though.  I really wish it wasn\'t....

Bossieman- Actually Billy Gates is a pretty smart cookie.  He scored over 200 on his IQ test.  No easy task by any means.  Too bad he\'s such a f***en jerk!

Sublimesjg- I\'ve always said wait n see, but to be fair, the ONLY place this rumor came from was a \'Off the record\' page on IGN. EVERY game mag and lots of sites were saying at one point that Square was strongly hinting at XB support. Me personally? I don\'t like Square that much, so its no loss to me, besides the fact that I have a PS2 and will have a NGC. I can play any Square game released....

Jumpman-Seriously, what the hells wrong with you? In my darkest hour (upon reading the confirmation that Sega was ceasing DC production) I was madder than hell at Sony, ****, I even boycotted... for a couple days , but even then I didnt really want to see PS2 fail. Why do you hate XB so much? All the anti-MS rhetoric I\'ve heard could be leveled at Sony just as easily by any intelligent person.  

And btw, Yamauchi hasn\'t stopped Square from making GC games, I believe they said they\'d be making 2 at least...

i am so sick and tired of people qouting rumors as facts. when sites quoted rumors of FFXI on Xbox - everyone just took it for truth - but yet square had not annouced their support and MS was just hoping they would - and now once again another rumor surfaces - this time about the rumor before - so what we have is two non facts contradicting each other - yet people state these as facts

go figure
