I am in need on a great baseball game. I have played about 5 of them so far, and even the new Triple Play for PS2. The graphics on the PSX games simply aren\'t up to par as to be expected, and PS2\'s version of TPB is a vast improvement, but the game still sux, atleast IMO.
The fielding is horrible, the AI for your players sucks, they move WAY to slow and you don\'t have as much control over the batting as EA would like you to think. Often times when you try to hit under the ball and the pitch is high, you\'ll still rip a weak grounder, unless you\'re trying to hit on top of the ball and it seems to almost always produce a weak pop up. Doesn\'t make much sense to me.
So, what the best baseball game out there in your opinion.
Also, how closely do different titles work together under the same company. Like, does the team that did Madden 2001 necessarily help work on TPB and Nascar? I don\'t get how EA could put out a masterpeice in graphics and gameplay like Madden and to a lesser extent NHL 2001, but then put out rather weak performances for Nascar and TPB, both of which I really wish I could like more.
