StarWars: StarFighter What is this game like? Rate it or hate it?

Tell me about this game cos I am thinking of buying it!  It looks amazing.

It is !!!!
Go and get it... But don´t play it with the settings on easy, because you will rush trough the game in 3 h !
It is great fun to hunt those other fighters and to watch the cutscenes. FX and Sound are superb !!!

Is there much slow down?  Everyone keeps moaning about the slow down.

I didnt notice any much slow down,if any at that,but yeah you should go and buy it,it is really good.

The game is pretty damn cool IMO

Slowdown is there but its not that bad, and when there\'s 20 baddies coming at you in full laser fire and the game still remains playable you won\'t be so upset.

I found the game to be challenging at least getting gold in every mission with no strat help or anything on normal mode

I bought it Saturday and finished it yesterday.
I wasn\'t too impressed. The graphics while sometime was awesome, they also sometimes was awful. The gameplay wasn\'t varied enough for my taste either.

Still, despite that I had some fun with it. The last level kicks ass and so do the bonus missions and extra stuff you can get (Darth Maul\'s ship rules!).

At the very least rent it. I doubt if you\'ll ever play it again, once you beat it and get Gold on all missions. But, that will take awhile in itself.
