I hate the Xbox only because of Bill Gates. To me he just needs to be the best and won\'t settle for anything else. The Xbox might kick PS2\'s @ss in graphics and everything else but IF the PS3 is true I hope the machine kicks the Xbox @ss black and blue! The xbox will probably better when it comes to graphics.... but man when the game developers start taking use of the emotion engine~~~WATCH OUT!~~~ They will figure out cool new things to do with the ps2...... and another thing when the ps3 comes out I hope they equal the power with xbox like 733mhz and everything else but use the emotion engine....... then we will actually see who\'s king of the hill.

I would have to say I agree with ya buddy. But try not to use so much launguage you might get kicked off by Bjorn or anybody else. But Mr. Gates stay away from our videogames. :evil::rpissed:

First, let me clear up some points.

Bill Gates is nowhere near the project. Seamus Blackley is. If you have any bones with SB about anything, yuo are a complete idiot. All Bill Gates is, is the check signer, the representative (being the #1 man in the world helps), the security. Nothing more, nothing less.

The Ps3 kicking X-Boxes ass is inevitable, anyone who disagrees is an idiot, but anyone who tries to make that point is also unsmart () The PS3 would be in a new gen over XD-Box. but what if X-Box2 came out? After all, comparing consoles within their respective generations is only fair.

About staying out of "our games", gimme a break. I could\'ve said the same thing about Sony trying to make PSX after making a few shoddy FMV games for the SegaCD. But no, I welcomed them with open arms as they impressed me with TM and ESPN X Games, etc. I suggest you lighten up and do the same.

 you agree that X-Box graphics will be better. as the system will be a year and a half newer than PS2 when it launches, and like PS2, it will contain state of the art technology, only adjusted +1.5 years. Developers may get great use out of the EE, we have already seen it in GT3, but do you really think it will beat out a system that is over a year and a half its younger? I highly doubt it.

This is maybe the single dumbest threads in awhile. Bill Gates has nothing to do with the Xbox other then showing it off at Game Shows / MS events for good public relations.


MS entering the game industry only enforces the other companies (nintendo / sony ) to try harder. Competion does that. So, you should welcome it.

Third: It is STUPID to have such a hate / dislike for someone you don\'t even know (Bill Gates). Are you runnin\' Windows? More and likely. Is Windows allowing you to post on this board? Yep. So what are you complaining about? He isn\'t even the richest man in the world, so give it a break. He is just another SMART buisnessman.


PS3 kicking the Xbox\'s ass? What are you smoking? The PS2 is still a infant, why are you worried about the PS3 doing better then the Xbox? That makes zero sense. In that case, why even buy a PS2? I mean, the PS3 is going to be better then the Xbox :rolleyes: Of course the PS3 will be more advanced then the Xbox, but then again, that is 4-5 years away, now isn\'t it?

On a related note. If you want to hate a system just because you have some blind hatred for the founder of the company, then okay. But, when you miss out on some excellent games--remember, its your own fault.

PS2 has shown nothing of its real power and People here are speaking about PS3 ?   Living-in-Clip is Right ...What are you smoking ?
The New CPU of PS3 is said to be 1000 Times more powerful than the EE...how the Hell a reasonable guy could think to make a comparison between PS3 and the X-Box ? :rolleyes:...X-Box "is said" it can do only slight improvements in Graphics over PS2...and PS3 will make PS2 looking like a Commodore 64 ....

Some PS2 games will destroy some other X-Box Games...and some X-Box Games will destroy some other PS2 games...Gameplay is what I\'m looking at...not slight improvements in Graphics...you\'ll never see notable difference in the same generation of Consoles !

Personally I dislike Microsoft but I hope X-Box will change my mind about Them...let\'s wait and see...

I\'m bewildered ...Mhz is only one of several factors to determine the Performance of a CPU !  The EE run at 300 Mhz and it easy destroys an array of P3 450 Mhz in 3D applications !
(The EE3 is said to run at 3 Ghz...well...only a rumor...)
(The Power of the X-Box is The NV2A 250 Mhz...not the P3 733 Mhz...)

I like Gates\' \'cause he\'s the underdog, and I love the underdog...

As for PS3 vs XB.... it\'s taking the best dev. houses a long time to use the power of PS2, I don\'t think I\'ll be blown away by the PS3 launch. And comparing XB and PS2 is like comparing PSone and PS2... there\'s no point in it.

I\'m sure PS3 will be very powerful... But I\'ll wait and see about the "1000 times more powerful" with my own eyes... Talk is easy, to back it up is not.

The x-box is 2 steps back, and the PS2 is 2 steps into the future. IMO
